Five-Phase Program

Five-Phase Program | Expressive Arts | Family Living Phase | Healthy Living Program

Family Life Center students are proactive participants in their own education and treatment.
This requires effort, discipline and honesty.

A five-phase program of development serves as milestones for each student's progress toward program graduation. In each phase, students focus on the achievement of clear therapeutic, educational, and vocational objectives; respond to new challenges; assume new responsibilities; and gain greater autonomy.

Students advance through the Phase Program by focusing on different themes that are clearly identified in corresponding Key Words, Goals and Objectives.

Each phase advancement is celebrated as a significant event, marking important achievements in the personal, interpersonal, family, vocational and educational domains.

“The daily structure helps you take responsibility for yourself.  Not only that, it helps you go step-by-step in your daily decisions.  Later in life, you’re not going to have someone telling you what to do, so you’re going to have to make your own decisions.”
     -Linda (FLC student)
